]]> By: MARY ANN BUCKHORN http://www.atheista.net/2007/02/19/youve-been-trapped/comment-page-1/#comment-7892 MARY ANN BUCKHORN Thu, 17 Jul 2008 15:38:53 +0000 http://www.atheista.net/?p=132#comment-7892 IM MARY ANN BUCKHORN LIVING IN BROOKES POINT PALAWAN MARRIED TO PHILLIP BUCKHORN HE IS AMERICAN, I Had a bar running by my friend at counter managing,last june 21 police the police raided the bar. we were set up by some locals here and im pretty sure the chief of police. they said we had an underage girl there. the father of alleged girl brought her in during the raid. i was called by my counter that night to go to pnp headquarters in brooks pt. they parents were there and were telling me i was a recruiter and they seperated me while they talked to the parents. the next morning the investigator called and said if i paid 30000peso the parents would forget about it. then later that day they called me and my husband to the pnp and talk to the chief of police. when we got there before the parents of girl arrived the chief was telling us that my husband was going to be deported and that i was going to prison. My husband tokd them he had no part in the bar as all contracts and such are in my name. My husband told him that he could not be involved because of this and the chief insisted because he is married to me that he was. my husband asked if I commited murder would he be involved for being married to me too. the chief told him that he could be. after that he was mad at my husband because he seen he could not be intimidated. so he then started to work on me telling me how i was going to be charge with white slavery and there was no bond and that i was going to jail. the people arrived and we all sat down. the police asked what would resolve the case to the parents and they said they wanted 60000. we had found out that right before we had gort to the pnp that the parents had met with the chief at his house. I was scared so they coherced me into signing a paper that said i would pay the 60000 with in a week or they would file charges. they tried to get my husband to sign but he told them he would not as he was not going to be extorted by the police when he had done nothing rong. this started as a white slavery case. they did not file til three weeks later when they filed for child trafficing, rape and kidnap with illegal detention. we were suposta have been holding her fron june 15 thru the 21st. we have proof and witnesses that during that time during the 16th, 17th and 18th she was in puerto princessa city 5 hour shuttle ride from here and the shuttle driver even remembers them(her and another girl that would testify)being on the shuttle. On the day of the raid the 21st we have witnesses that will testify she was at their house from early morning til three pm. the raid was at 8pm. we have police affidavit that during the raid her father brought her in the bar. the chief has tried to get them to change blotter to go with his story with these people but they will not as most have yrs in at this precinct and will not take chance of losing there jobs over perjuring themselves for a chief that has only 3 months on the force here. we have taken pictures of all the rooms in the bar upstairs where the girls were quartered. there is not one room that would not be hard to escape from, the owners of the property and bar which is rented check the place often to see what is going on as ther house is about 30 meters away from the bar. they are upstanding citizens her and will testify that they have never seen this girl in our bar. there are close neighbors that will also tell they had never seen her there. the police chief has had records and ben dismissed from duty in three other towns in palawan. i know that in narra, palawan he was accused of illegal lottery. Dahil po nag-apply ako ng telephone at nagbayad ako ng initial payment na P500 pero dahil sa tagal ng proseso nila, nagdecide akong wag na lang ituloy ang application ko. Kayat nirequest kong irefund na lang ang P500 pero matagal bago nila maprocess din, nung May 20 pa po yun but until now hindi pa rin nila naibbalik sa akin ang pera. Nakapag-usap na po kami ni Mr. Raymundo pero puro pangako lang sya hindi naman natutupad na ibalik ang pera ko, kahit ba P500 lng yun, mahirap din kitain yun, maglakad man sya sa buong Manila,wala syang mappulot na P500 di po ba? Sana po mailathala nyo itong sulat ko, para malaman po ng mga tao na hindi po dapat magtiwala kay mr. Antonio Raymundo dahil isa syang sinungaling at manggagantso.
