For Kids With NBA Dreams
Los Angeles Clippers guard Shaun Livingston dislocated his left knee cap after landing awkwardly in a game against the Charlotte Bobcats. According to reports, his knee joint x-rays came back negative. Negative for what? Beats me. During my Radiology elective, we were taught to be specific on the pertinent information. I guess sports writers and NBA TV correspondents didn’t take that elective.

If we take it as the report as it is, it suggests that the knee joint is doing fine. The only obvious injury is the medial deviation of the left patella. Injury to the patellar ligament could also be taken into consideration.

Ugh. Nasty fall.
Sports writer focus more on the detailed science of the sport rather than the detailed science of the human body.
Plus, their task is to get messages through the people. So telling the audience (especially sports fans) “medial deviation of the left patella” is more useful when phrased as “busted knee.” Pretty much inaccurate but that’s all what viewer would want to hear. Hehehe.
I posted the video myself and tens of thousands of people have viewed it!!!! wahahaha
