Over the weekend, I stumbled across this site. The author prepared an Excel file that would serve as a self-checking questionnaire. It’s a fairly straight forward test. You download the file and translate each Filipino word (200 of them) to its English counterpart. The initial letter of each answer was also given to serve as a clue.
I got a score of 75% (150 out of 200). I challenge you to take this test. See if you can beat a Batangueño.

So far, I got 110 out of 200. Not bad, e? LOL.
Oh, and may ganito rin na game akong nakita. Pero iyon, commercial tag lines ang given, you just have to guess from what product it came from.
78%. Okay na ba yun? LOL
Three comments in a row? wow.
78% That’s real close to Chiz Escudero/ Christy Fermin territory.
Kumalat itong excel file na ito sa office namin. (Which is funny because unauthorized outside files aren't allowed in our intranet.) I didn't personally answer the quiz but I helped an officemate get 85%. Some of the answers seem wrong. Ngisi = grin? I think smirk is the closer answer. And pastol = sheperd? Wrong spelling. It should be "shepherd." I'd like to throw the "Gago! Bobo!" epithets back to the creator because of these.
Yeah, I didn't agree with most of the answers. Well, di naman, mga 10-20 items di ako agree. I pointed out that sheperd thing to the examiner. hehe

although this excel file quiz was originally posted from my blog, i'd like to inform that i was not the author of this quiz. I'm also one of those who took the test, and when I finally got 100%, saka ko lang naisipang i-share.
On my personal opinion, ung SHEPERD lang ang talagang mali jan. Pero dahil sa spelling lang naman nagkamali, I still like to commend the person who author this na kapwa din natin Pinoy, na nagkakamali lang din sa spelling.
