I respect your belief guys but I think to much questions and logical with what sorround us will make our life complicated.Life is short bro’s.There is no problem if we believed in things that we never see w/ our own eyes. Its a matter of faith and conviction.Look at the things arround you.Are they exist on their own?Or someone create them?Or is it a magic?Sometimes there are things bro’s that human being’s mind need not to uncover to believe. Its a waiste of time.Live our life to the fullest atheists!!!There is big difference if we believe to unseen things than to scrutinize everything. What if the bible says is true?you’re lost people. And what if you’re correct with what you believe?we christian are not lost like yours because youre belief has no consequences like we believe.THINK ABOUT IT …
This comment was left on my Atheist Concession entry. Please feel free to rip this pathetic excuse for a comment apart. Thanks.

Dear Mister Australian,
No consequences, other than being stupid all your life to believe in something that didn’t exist in the first place.
We’re not all “the easiest way to live is to believe” type of person. It’s all about faith for you. Keep it. Treasure it. So let the atheists live their lives full of “complications”, because, hey, it’s not your lost. :p
Benj, I’ll stop now. Hirap i-dissect eh. Nakakahilo lol.
Honestly, I expected them to have a much better grasp of the English language than this. haha
can somebody give me a tissue?
I’d like to rip him apart, but I couldn’t understand what he said. OMG GRAMMER NAZI LOLZ
Dear Benj,
It’s not worth it.
Love,
Helga
PS: LULZ LULZ LULZ MGA BRO‘S
Is he really Australian? If he is then, I pity the Australian educational system. This guy should be put into jail for murdering the English language.
Anyways, don’t mind him or bother to rip him apart. It’s just a “waiste” of time. Hehe
sorry. i didn’t even bother reading his message.
OMG my eyes hurt with his powerful words!
um.. i don’t know where to start! haha :p gusto ko yung ARROUND. ang sarap sabihin. hehe. ARROUND!! RRRR! :p
i believe in the existence of a Supreme Being. that said…
(comment edited for clarity… it’s rather difficult to engage someone in discussion when the form and style is of used bathroom tissue quality; any errors due to clarificatory editing are mine, of course.)
decartes said it best: cogito ergo sum. without cogent thought, no him or her can validly call himself sapient, therefore the latin homo sapiens automatically becomes erroneous.
my point is this — despite the fact that critical thought can and does complicate many matters, sentience is the only thing separates us from bacteria. without sentience we are no more than disparate lumps of carbon. without critical thought we are no better than tarred telephone poles.
your point being?
do you know of the saying “a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat that isn’t there”? do you even know WHY you believe that there is a supreme being? or do you simply have faith in your faith? again, critical thinking, i would recommend.
interesting. from this very same argument voltaire said: “if god did not exist, it would have been necessary to invent him.” this is because of the inherent anthropomorphic attitudes humans have — given that a sword needs a blacksmith to be forged, ergo the universe needs a supreme being to come into existence.
i’m more inclined to think that there are human minds that need not be exposed to disbelieve in their existences.
what is a waste of time? blind faith or critical thinking? i suppose if using one’s brainpower is a waste, well, i could possibly agree with you.
i don’t quite see how you correlate a fulfilled life with blind belief.
there certainly is. the difference is between that of blindness and clarity.
if what the Bible/ Qu’ran/ Torah/ et cetera says is true and there is a God, atheists have a distinct advantage: because of their critical thinking and their not succumbing to blind zealotry, the Supreme Being will likely be more understanding (that is, of course, if this Supreme Being fits in the anthropomorphic model usually presented in church).
in other words, you’re like a non-union member benefiting from the wage increase brought about by the union members who went on strike. na-ambunan, kumbaga, kahit walang ginawa.
i submit that benj has thought long and hard about his atheism. i myself struggle from day to day on my belief in the powers-that-be. i suggest, though, that YOU do quite a bit more thinking so that you can come back here and present more coherent arguments and thus engage us in a more meaningful discussion.
and in that interim, perhaps lessons in spelling and grammar?
apologies, benj, for the long comment.
He should spend more time fixing his grammar and spelling and not waste posting in your blog. I told you the messengers of the christian god are ill-equipped
I’ve always believed in respecting other people’s belief whether thay believe in a religion or not, as long as they don’t step on other people’s foot or harm others, it’s ok by me. But him saying about being “correct” because he is part of a group of believers?…. well he better think about what he said there.

Thanks for your comprehensive response. I must admit, the hint of the possibility of maltheism in your post inspired me to write a new entry. hehe
I’m just really bothered with the grammar.
His grammar makes me wanna cry.
blogosphere is a free what do you call it–space (or whatever), benj!
Say what you will, but you have GOT to admit that after mulling those words over for a few minutes, your cold, stale hearts all melted.
No? Just me then? Ok.
