Yes, The Shirt Is Now Extant!

Dearest readers *chuckles*, the grand plan to make a shirt for my humble blog has reached it’s completion. I have masterfully executed the grand plan after almost half a year of sitting on it and trying out other avenues by which to have this dream of mine realized. At the end of the day, despite all the time wasted in procrastinating, the shirt lies finished and ready to wear! I actually wore it to SM Mall of Asia today and I’m now expecting an avalanche of hits as soon as those thousands of people go home from their holiday shopping.
The shirt itself is a medium-sized Hanes sports shirt. It’s the same type of shirt that online shops like Cafepress use for customized products. Unlike other type of plain white shirts, the fabric is considerably thicker. Buying this shirt set me back 380 pesos. For a cheapskate like me, that was a bit of an amount to cough up considering I was only getting a white shirt.
As you can see, it’s a fairly simple design. There’s a likeness of the Invisible Pink Unicorn (the unofficial and obviously humorous logo of Atheism) and my site’s logo (in signature blood red and black hues). The print is on the left chest pocket area and measures roughly 4 x 4 sq. inches.

The back features a 1.5 x 12 inch panel that features my URL. The text still follows the font and color scheme of the original logo and this website. I was thinking of putting a smaller IPU at the back, but for the interest of making sure that the URL pops out, I chose to keep the back simple. The letters are quite big! I’m sure it’s quite readable up to 12 feet (totally unproven! haha).
The printing of the shirt set me back 8 pesos per square inch. Just do the math on that. I know, it’s a fairly expensive shirt, but the cost would’ve dramatically dropped if I settled for an inferior quality shirt.
Why am I telling you this? Well, I’m just gloating. Atheista.net HAS a shirt now! Just one, though. Hehe

Cool clean new blog format and cool logo sa shirt… Kaya lang di ko gets (slow ako) why the pink unicorn is the “obviously humorous logo” of your site… the link doesn’t work also when I tried to find out why. Wahehe, slow ako, soree.
Hey Benj, nice shirt! How did you find the quality of the prints from Cafepress.com? Are you satisfied with it?
(Oh yeah, I was meaning to inform you about the absence of the “next page” links on your blog. Good thing there’s the search box. Hehehe.)
Eugene: Uh, I didn’t have the shirt done at Cafe Press. I just used the site to generate the images.
Oops. My bad. I shouldn’t have skimmed. Hehehe.
