I was almost going to vote for Roco, but I remember the popular sentiment then -- that "a vote against GMA is a vote for FPJ." I think my fear for GMA being president was trumped by my fear of FPJ winning, which was really something that was possible at that time. Plus, there were also rumors of Roco being seriously ill at that time so there were concerns on that. I remember voting for the first time in the 2004 elections.
