Quiz Night and other Trivia Venues around Manila

I’ve been going out to play trivia for over a year now and it continues to be a very good night out activity for me instead of simply eating out in a restaurant or drinking in a bar. I like learning new stuff and competing against people who also want to win so going to quiz night is certainly an exhilarating experience at times – at least during the times when my team has a chance to win.

Here are the quiz night venues that I usually go to:

Thanks to Jayvee, I am not party to this big secret. Delifrance launched a new line of spiked coffee drinks in addition to their already renowned roster of hot and cold beverages. From March 3 to March 7, you may get a free drink if you could tell the barista the correct password. Password after the jump Continue Reading »

I’m not exactly friendly but…

I know I’m taking a big risk in posting a photo like this. This might actually find its way to one of Ade‘s future controversial entries, but what the hell, I’ll take this risk to honor my friends.

Go To Sagada This Summer!

The summer heat is slowly creeping upon us again. From complaining of unusually cold weather during the latter days of January, we’re now encountering the expected searing drumming from the sun a month later. April 2007 would feature one of the longest weekends ever due to the lent holidays and the April 9 Holiday (Araw ng Kasarinlan). Why not put it to good use by going to one of the Philippines’ best tourist destinations?

I guess it pays to be nice…

It pays to be nice… to me that is. Though I’ve elected to go with a less creepy picture (shoutout to the fans of Sengir and Serra! ), the topic of this post may be a bit disturbing to some. People who know me in real life – that would account for 2% of the people who read this blog — would vouch for my calm demeanor. I am not one who usually gets irritated quickly and I rarely hold ill thoughts against others. Really, I rarely do.

That’s why It’s such a great joy shock that something amazingly freakish happened. Visualize this: You tried channelling all your negative thoughts and energy towards three seemingly healthy people and two of them actually come down with something – heck, email me for the details. Coincidence or not, the universe was on my side on that occasion. And for all it’s worth, it was well deserved.

If the third one goes down with something, then I’ll feel more confident with my ‘ability’.

I ‘m not doing anything related to Wicca, Voodoo or any hex-casting ‘art’, but so far so good. Too bad it’s not a full-fledged death wish spell.

If I just only lived in San Diego, I could’ve availed of a great martial arts lesson deal from San Diego personal training. That way, it would’ve been easy to dispose of the people I want to eliminate. If you want mixed martial arts training and you’re in the area, why don’t you check that place out?
