WOLFGANG will be playing their first solo show since Basti Artadi has decided to stay for good in the country. It will be a major event and it seems like the band picked the perfect venue for such a momentous occasion. The Metropolitan Theater (or the Met) has always been one of the most enduring examples of Art Deco architecture in the country but due to decades of disrepair, it has now become a shadow of its former glory – the City of Manila is trying to change that by making it more relevant to present-day events and Wolfgang’s concert will certainly breathe new life to this theater that was once one of the finest in the country.

Metropolitan Theater is located at Lawton, Manila – just next to the bridge that connects South Manila to Quiapo.

I guess this makes it official – Wolfgang will definitely be part of the Tanduay First Five Tour for 2011. The press conference was done at Century Plaza Park Hotel in Malate and all five bands (Wolfgang, Parokya ni Edgar, Kamikazee, Chicosci and Sandwich) were all in attendance to answer the questions of the press. Finally, after almost three weeks of trying to keep the big secret to myself, I can safely say that Basti Artadi will be staying for good in the Philippines and Wolfgang (at least in its current incarnation with three original members and a very able drummer in Francis Aquino) will be raising hell all over the country once again as they try to resurrect and represent the proud lineage of 90s Pinoy Rock. Basti made the announcement in a taped message that was played during the press conference. It was a short message but it definitely related everything that a Wolfgang fans wanted to hear.

The Tanduay First Five tour schedule is definitely a list of very predictable venues (you do see Cebu, Iloilo, Davao, Dumaguete, Baguio and Bacolod) as well as the down-right exotic (Nabunturan and Panabo definitely jump out – I had to Google these two places!). I really wanted to ask the bands on how they felt about playing for an audience that didn’t necessarily have the some rock upbringing that most of their Manila and Luzon-based fans have had – one that was rich with radio airplay and relatively good access to records and albums. Don’t you wonder how a band like Chicosci would be received in a place like Ormoc, Marbel or Nabunturan? These places may be urban in their own right, but it’s certainly going to be a different experience – both for the fans AND the bands performing.

Chicosci‘s frontman Miguel Chavez expressed his excitement for playing for an audience who would probably see his band as unknowns and to a certain extent, the bands would also be playing in a venue that is way outside their comfort zone. He promises however that the bands would try their best to deliver the best show possible – and if you’ve seen all these five bands play live before, you definitely know that they will try to give the crowd a rocking good time. apologies for using last year’s Chicosci poster - the new one is not yet available as of press time!

Mong Alcaraz of both Chicosci and Sandwich also echoed Miggy’s sentiments and later added that playing in new places and knowing about the people’s reactions were one of the things that made him feel excited about being in a band – especially in the very beginning.

Jay Contreras of Kamikazee also related that being on tour gives the band a chance to connect with fans and more recognizable nationwide. He also mentioned one of the sad realities of being a musician – people no longer buy albums nowadays and artists are more dependent on alternative avenues to get their music out and generate revenue.

The idea of going to Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya (I’ve passed this town several times on my way up to Sagada), Marinduque, Masbate and some of the other relatively nearby tour venues is definitely tempting and quite intriguing. I have friends who are also considering it so with enough time and money on our hands, I might just see a handful of these shows outside of Manila.

This is easily the best lineup this tour has ever seen – and a lot of it has something to do with Wolfgang being part of the roster. The variety of songs and musical stylings among the five bands who have signed up for the 2011 tour is also quite remarkable.

Wolfgang will certainly be the hardest hitting band on this tour. They can whip up a storm with their tried-and-tested heavy rock anthems and get the crowd singing with their modern classic rock ballads.

Chicosci will be bringing forward a punk-oriented sound that does NOT sound like anything else that is on the tour. The Chicosci sound is very polarizing but I’ve been drinking the Kool-Aid for 10 years now and yes, I think their music definitely allows one to escape to one’s teenage years.

Sandwich brings the quirk. It’s hard to put a finger on what Sandwich is really trying to do – even when Marc Abaya was still the vocalist of the band, Sandwich has always been exploring a whole range of rock disciplines.

Kamikazee was one of the biggest bands of the last decade and they could possibly be the second biggest crowd draw after Parokya ni Edgar. Their song Narda was the national anthem for almost a year and I could already imagine that song being a HUGE hit in the provinces.

Parokya ni Edgar for better or for worse is probably the second biggest band in Pinoy Rock History after the Eraserheads as far as sheer popularity is concerned. People know their songs and the audience will definitely erupt in unison when they hear the openings strains of Harana, Halaga and Buloy. Those songs were meant for big concerts and those songs will be sang many times during the tour for sure.

I’m already excited! Let’s go!

The 90s produced a wealth of bands in the local rock scene and few if any could claim to have had bigger success and influence than Wolfgang – arguably, the best representative of the hard rock/ metal genre in the mainstream. The band was simply prolific in releasing amazing album after amazing album in the mid to late 90s and were always one of the best live acts in town due to their punishing sets and tremendous technical abilities with their respective instruments. Life among other things got into way of good music during the past decade so the band had to stop playing for a bit to concentrate on other worthwhile endeavors.

And then they came back, sort of…

I’m proud to have had a very good relationship with the people who have steered the band into a good direction since they decided to put together a show in 2007. I was there when they released their first album in seven years during the Black Christmas project of December 2008. It was certainly a good way to re-discover something that you’ve grown up with. To a certain extent, Wolfgang was probably going through the same process of familiarization – they’re now playing with a new drummer and their collective life experiences from the time they recorded their albums from the 1990s are certainly a lot richer and more replete with material that they can draw inspiration from.

With albums hopelessly out of print, it is hard to be a new Wolfgang fan nowadays. Due to this, I would like to contribute to the younger generation *cough* by starting As Oceans – an unofficial Wolfgang blog with great connections to the people behind the band. As Oceans of course is a very emotionally-driven ditty from the eponymous album released in 1995. It was not released as a radio single but a lot of people definitely connect with the lyrics due to its theme of pushing on and moving forward regardless of what life throws at you. Put in a good mix of allusions to tides and the seas and you’ve got a rock anthem that true-blue fans of Wolfgang would know by heart. The song is not just a song that could easily be the theme song to any fan’s life; it’s also a great song to narrate the great challenges that Wolfgang had to go through to exist as they do as a musical unit now.

There’s a new Wolfgang album in the works – yes, Lizza Nakpil just confirmed it to me! And trust me, news there is something brewing in the horizon and you’ll just have to wait til March to hear about it. It’s going to be an awesome year to be a Wolfgang fan, I could just feel it.

quiet but never afraid

silent but always awake

Basti Artadi, Mon Legaspi, Manuel Legarda and Francis Aquino are *allegedly* now in the songwriting phase for the seventh Wolfgang studio album. It’s been over two years since the release of Villains that featured tracks like R.P. Death Squad, Ibrahim and Soap so it’s definitely a much anticipated effort from the band. Wolfgang has been in a weird state since Basti Artadi decided to leave the band indefinitely to pursue a life abroad but thanks to a concert in 2007, the band’s fans were given a glimmer of hope that yes, maybe the band could move on despite the geographical limitations.Over half a dozen concerts later here and abroad, it seems like the band was functioning as strong as any other band sans the weekly gigs at places like Sazi’s or Saguijo. The band now has over 112,000 fans on their Facebook page – and the number has meteorically risen during the past year. The band left when music was still a different commodity – MP3 players weren’t that popular yet and the world was still retreating from the shockwaves of the Napster fiasco. After being gone for so long and with albums being hopelessly out of stock, it was very interesting to see whether or not Wolfgang’s legacy would be passed on to the new generation of rock aficionados. If the numbers are any indication, it sure seems like Wolfgang’s fanbase has grown to include the young guns.

Honestly though, I’m relatively young relative to most Wolfgang fans. The album Serve in Silence came out when I was a sophomore in high school and the first three albums were all released when I was in grade school. The band was pretty big then and it was impossible to miss “Arise” and “Halik Ni Hudas” since they were phenomenal hits but I did have to do a lot of research. The options that are available now for present-day fans to get to know about an artist’s discography is dime a dozen nowadays. It’s so easy to search videos on Youtube and there are websites like iMeem that hosts many music files in its database. Back then, a fan needed to look for albums in different record stores or borrow CDS (or tapes!) from friends who had them. It was a lot like a scavenger hunt and to a certain extent, there was more pride derived from being a fan (and having a physical copy of an album!) during those times.

Hopefully this seventh album would trigger for potential Wolfgang fans the same thing that listening to Serve in Silence did for me. While it is true that the chances of one finding a non-Villains CD in record stores is slim, the internet allows for greater possibilities in terms of getting know just how rich Wolfgang’s discography is.

Again, Wolfgang will be taking the stage again on December 1 at 19 East in Sucat. This will be just a few days before they rock out in Dubai so it will be quite a show. For tickets, call: 0906.103.5333
0915.621.2189

Part of the proceed would go to the benefit of the victims of recent disasters.

This is Wolfgang’s eighth show since the informal hiatus that the band took in the early part of this decade. Let’s count down those eight shows

1. Peligro (Makati, 2004?) – This absolutely was the most emotionally-charged moment for a Wolfgang fan in the years immediately after Basti Artadi’s unexpected “sorta-farewell” message. People who got in had the time of their lives while those outside bitched and moaned like there was no tomorrow – guess which group I was in.

2-3. Alive Music Museum Concerts (January 2007 x 2) – The Alive concerts are just way too hard to top in terms of milestones. Not only did these concerts allow more people to see Wolfgang – okay fine, three of the original members — it also hinted at the potential of a new album despite the ridiculous geographical challenges.

4. Black Christmas at Eastwood (December 2008) – This concert featured the release of VILLAINS – Wolfgang’s sixth studio album. Read the entry if you want to really know how I felt about this concert.

5. Two Sides Live at Music Museum (March 2009) - This had major technical problems during the beginning – it was very annoying to see the tech guys fumble with the microphone. Kevin Roy’s mic malfunctioned several times. And wow, the bouncers were absolutely ridiculous. The idea of sitting down in a rock concert is absurd – in my opinion, since the people on stage are standing up, leaving your seat while the band is playing is a sign of respect. But no, these bouncers were ready to spoil the party. ANNOYING BITCHES. Good thing Lizza fixed things when it was Wolfgang’s turn to play already.

6. The Singapore Set

7. The Cebu Set

=====

My Wishlist for Hit N Run

1. Well, the first wish has already been granted – sort of. This will be a STANDING ROOM ONLY venue so those bouncers will have no business forcing people to take their seats. I was really annoyed during Two Sides Live and I’m really happy that steps have been taken to ensure that no similar incidents would happen for Hit N Run.

2. More Black Mantra… PLEASE! Quick, let’s do a Wolfgang post-Wolf Gemora pop quiz. How many Black Mantra songs has Wolfgang played in those seven concerts? You want to know the answer? ONE. Yes. ONE. And it’s Judas Noose. I have no idea if the songs are just too hard to play or there’s some darker reasons for the band not wanting to select tracks from this release. I personally love Black Mantra and I’d love to hear No Falter live.

3. I hope the band would play more songs that we haven’t heard in a long time! Here are the songs that they always play - Arise, Mata ng Diyos, Halik ni Hudas, Center of The Sun, Sanctified, Tulisan and Very Free. I hope they throw in RATZ, Heavenspent or Catinamosh.

4. The Alive DVD! I honestly don’t think it will be out next month, but one could hope, right?

See you all on December 1!

Evil is our lair!

Basti Artadi, Mon Legaspi, Manuel Legarda and Wolfgang’s de facto drummer Francis Aquino took the stage to deliver what was promised to be a very long set. They started things slow with the easy-going verses of “Mata Ng Diyos” that sent people singing their lungs out. The fairly easy opening lines then soon give way to the gut-busting phrasing of the chorus – but heck, people were still singing! It was a curious case for a first song – Alive 2007 started off with “Center Of The Sun” while the Black Christmas project of 2008 featured the first track off the Wurm album “Sanctified”. It was great to have the guys draw the crowd in for an early sing-along session though.

After that, there was definitely no stopping Wolfgang from cranking the volume up to earbleed levels. Keeping true to playing songs that true blue would know by heart, the band played the very hard-hitting “I…” from the Semenelin album. I honestly think that this could have been a big radio hit had it been released as a single. They then segued in to a reworked version of “Atomica” from Serve In Silence and as a tribute to the most loyal fan “New Mother Nature” – again from the Semenelin album. Only a few people were singing, but they (*ehem* we) were singing ever so proudly.

The first set was finished through the intense and in-your-face sonic assault that is “Hell Looks”, Basti’s love song to his girlfriend “Cathedral Of Space” and the hit from the new Villains album, “RP Death Squad”. It was great to hear the audience singing to RP Death Squad already! This marks that fourth time that the song has been played live (twice during Alive 2007 and once during Black Christmas). Chants of R! P! Death! Squad! filled the air

And then… They went acoustic!

Tirso Rippoll went out again to help Wolfgang for a set of acoustic ditties. The rock scene was shook to its foundations when the band took many risks towards the end of the century – they had an unplugged concert (at the same venue) called Wolfgang… Silenced that was later released as a CD/VCD (Acoustica) while Basti Artadi tried his luck doing theater.

They kicked off the toned down but still high energy set with tunes off their eponymous debut album from 1995. Basti Artadi dedicated the first song “Cast Of Clowns” to his father but it could’ve been dedicated to everybody else’s father as the crowd sang with the vocalist the entire way. For the second song, Basti didn’t even try singing over the booming voice of the audience – he gave them the privilege (heck, the duty) of singing the one word chorus to “Left Alone”.

They then went to play the only track in Filipino from Villains “Gusto Mo Pa Ba?”. I guess Carl (the guy seated next to me) is a lot more die-hard that I am. I don’t have the lyrics to most songs in Villains down pat yet but he sang the ditty like he’s been singing it for years. Fortunately, I had my field day with the next song. Wolfgang played my favorite song from the Serve In Silence album “Anino”. The song is the perfect introspective woe-is-me existentialist-depression song that still manages to be dignified without being sounding manic, angst-filled without sounding like a sociopath.

Four of the songs played were also played during the epic Acoustica concert so it was a great treat for everyone who missed that one-night-only event almost a decade ago. The band then took a really short break before rocking out harder than ever.

It was the first time I heard “Semenelin” live! My friend Steph would’ve loved to hear that song. And yes, despite the relative obscurity of the track (ironi c since it’s the album title), people WERE still singing.

The band ended the show with a tour-de-force line-up of “Arise”, “Natutulog Kong Mundo” (where Manuel Legarda actually sang!) , “Matter of Time” and “Halik Ni Hudas”. By this time, Basti was no longer just a vocalist – he was now a conductor! He basked in the lights and coaxed the crowd to sing even louder for him – the people in the audience didn’t really need much encouragement. We were indeed in hallowed ground.

Wolfgang obliged the crowd with two songs as encore as they slayed hits like “Darkness Fell” (definitely a hit with the ladies, not too sure about the guys. haha) and “Center Of The Sun” (where Kevin Roy gamely joined in).

It was truly an exhilirating experience. I am in debted to Wolfgang once again.

I was one of the privileged people to have known about Two Sides Live so it was really hard for me to keep things under wraps for so long. When it was formally released two months ago, the countdown began to an amazing one-night only acoustic-and-electric epic night that only a band at Wolfgang’s level could only pull off!

The show promptly started at 9pm with some of the seats still empty due to the much expected Filipino habit of wanting a dramatic and unfashionably later entrance. Razorback set the stage ablaze by opening the show by doing one of their most recognizable songs “Payaso” off the groove-heavy Beggar’s Moon album. As promised by one of the movers behind the concert (a person who shall now be referred as Lizza Nakpil), the theme was going to be playing up to the seldomly performed songs of both bands.

Kevin Roy’s microphone was jacked for a couple of minutes, but once that initial hiccup was overcome, Razorback sure delivered what they have always been known for – straight-up, blues-influenced hard rock that just inspires you to sing along while trying your best to dislocate your cervicalvertebrae. The band played “Temple” ( a Beggar’s Moon track that almost always gets played) but segues to never-been-released-on-an-actual-album tracks like “Daan-Daang Dahilan” and “Empire Accretia” made the possibility of a long-awaited studio album stay alive even if no referrences were made to that “potential” album during the show.

The band then pandered to the hardcore fans by playing a rarely played track – “As Spicy As It Gets” again from the seminal second album Beggar’s Moon. After the rousing flurry of bass licks on that song, the band took the mellow route as they once again played the introspective “Manna”. I have a feeling that this is one of the band’s favorite songs. They have always played this song on every concert that I’ve watched since the release of their double CD self-titled album back in 2003.

Razorback frontman Kevin Roy then removed his long sleeved sweatshirt to reveal a classic Rorschach-inspired Wolfgang shirt. The band then proceeded to pump up the volume to what I consider to be four of the best Razorback songs ever. More songs off Star were played – “Tikmanangulan” sure livened up the crowd after the somber air that “Manna” left. Despite all the energy that the band was putting forward, some of the bouncers (ok, one!) was being an ass by making everyone sit down! Heck, this is a rock concert! The band on stage are slaying song after song and the least that fans could do is to stand up and show their enthusiasm, enjoyment and appreciation for the effort that is being displayed by the band. This really frustrated me. I loathe them. They ruined that part of the show.

Razorback closed out the set strong with “Voodoo Who Do?” and the apocalyptic and epic second track from the eponymous album “Wakasan” and my favorite Razorback song of all time “Nakaturo Sa’yo”. The crowd really got into it! For the first time, I could hear/see people singing along, shouting their heads off and stomping their feet… on a Thursday night!

Despite the rough start, Razorback dishes out a solid performance and finishes strong on the power of their recognizable hits. I’ve always thought that Razorback was grossly underrated. Hopefully, they’ll get their chance to headline their own concert soon! Can’t wait for the next album.

I just got back from the hallowed grounds of Music Museum. The concert was absolutely amazing. It’s nice to pretend for one night that Wolfgang never really left.

Here’s the playlist. I’m not too sure about the order (and I might be missing a few songs) since I was trying to dislocated my neck most of the time during the concert.

Razorback

 1. Payaso
2. Temple
3. Daan-Daang Dahilan
4. Empire Accretia
5. As Spicy As It Gets
6. Manna
7. Tikmanangulan
8. Voodoo Who Do?
9. Wakasan
10. Nakaturo Sa’yo

Wolfgang

 1. Mata Ng Diyos –
2. I… – the first of many obscure songs… everybody still knew haha
3. Atomica – with a totally different intro that confused people a bit.
4. A New Mother Nature – oh yes, they played this.
5. Hell Looks
6. Cathedral Of Space – yes, I’m serious. They played this.
7. RP DEATH SQUAD

Then… Tirso went out again to play with Manuel for the acoustic set.

 1. Cast Of Clowns
2. Left Alone
3. Bought And Sold
4. Gusto Mo Pa Ba?
5. ANINO!!!!

The band then reverted to the full set.

 1. Arise
2. Halik Ni Hudas
3. Natutulog Kong Mundo
4. A Matter Of Time
5. Semenelin – first time I heard this song live!!! I was singing my heart out.

Encore:
Darkness Fell
Center of the Sun

If you were at the concert, it was a privilege to have shared this experience with other fellow die-hards who were screaming their lungs out to almost every song.

—

Wolfgang played 19 (!) songs!

Breakdown per album:
Wolfgang – 6
Semenelin – 7
Wurm – 2
Serve In Silence – 2
Black Mantra – ZERO ZERO ZERO. Man, this album got shafted again. I guess the band has issues with this album. This was after all, the album they produced before they went inactive.
Villains – 2

Wolfgang’s much anticipated Two Sides Live concert with Razorback is only weeks away and the local blogosphere has been buzzing with articles in Music Picks, Rockersworld and Rockfem among others. The band has also been tearing it up on local and cable channels with their features on MYX and MTV that it’s almost easy to forget that Basti Artadi isn’t even in the Philippines right now! Aside from this, Wolfgang is one of the main acts featured in this month’s edition of Pulp Magazine (cover image above) and the band has already been named as No Fear’s official endorsers fro 2009! They’re definitely blitzing through media as well as finding their way on to billboards in EDSA and Ortigas.

All this effort and attention puts great emphasis on how epic the March 19 concert at Music Museum can potentially be. It combines the two strong pillars of Wolfgang’s varied and legendary body of work for a night of music that is truly going to go down as one of the most memorable concerts of all time. Ticket Information For The Wolfgang Concert.

Another US-based blogger, Redante, put together a great set of questions for Wolfgang to answer in an e-mail interview. Manuel Legarda and Basti Artadi were more than happy to quickly respond.

Redante: How does it feel to release a brand new album as Wolfgang? How does it feel to release it as an indie album rather than through a major label?

BASTI: It feels great. We weren’t even planning on doing an album but once I heard Manuels riffs it started the ball rolling. I automatically said wait a minute there is something here that needs to be completed by us these riffs are too good to go to Razorback haha!

MANUEL: I was active just enough to scratch the itch. It feels great to have an album out again. I also really like the fact that we did this without a record label

BASTI: Again it is a great feeling because now the ball is in our court, we get to make decisions about our music and we get to see the outcome of those decisions not some guy in an office somewhere who couldn’t give two shits about any of it.

Please point to Redante’s blog for Wolfgang’s full interview.

Here are the lyrics to the songs on Wolfgang’s sixth studio album – Villains. Tickets for the Two Sides Live concert are still on sale .

All song credits belong to Basti Artadi, Manuel Legarda, Mon Legaspi and Francis Aquino.

RP Death squad

The only type of sweet surrender should have murder in its eyes

Feel it now its calling you
Feel the hunger rise
Time to wake the sleeping child touch the heat between its thighs

It’s lurking in the shadows
In every nerve under your skin
Time to wake the masses
And let the killing trend begin

Even now with darkness falling raise your glasses to a higher
Calling till the fortress falls and well be reborn
In each others arms

Will you face down the enemy?
Will you rise when called?
My brother of the guillotine
Cause the cancer it grows
Will you face down the enemy?
Will you rise when called?
My brother of the guillotine
Touching bloodstained walls

Even now it’s calling you
Hunger starts to rise
Bloodstains on your fingertips
Murder in your eyes

Blood brother
Lay down your life for me
Blood brother
Lay down

Rp death squad…………………….

Feel it dripping from your skin
Creeping in your head
Rise up now o child of fear
Creeping in your head
Under moonlight start to gather
Creeping in your bones
Feel like god has long since left you
You’re not alone

Diaspora mama

Try so hard to forget where you’ve come from
Don’t you ever regret being the every man?

If not for what you were
You are nothing
If not for what you were
You are no one

Kill all passion
Turn away from everything
Kill all passion
Burn up your memories

Now how do expect
To get where you’re going
If you do not respect
The path that you were once on

If not for what you were
You are nothing
If not for what you were
You are no one

Kill all passion
Turn away from everything
Kill all passion
Burn up your memories

What consolation
How do you bury all and everyone?
What consolation
If history be damned

No shelter
Diaspora mama

You cannot run from all your enemies
Can’t you tell that they are everywhere?
Try to deny where you come from
And hold fake close to your heart

You cannot hide your insecurities
You cannot cover up your legacy
Turn tail
And run from what it means to you
Escape is a word nothing more

Solo

Ah ah

No shelter
Diaspora mama

You cannot run from all your enemies
Can’t you tell that they are everywhere?
Try to deny where you come from
And hold fake close to your heart

You cannot hide your insecurities
You cannot cover up your legacy
Turn tail
And run from what it means to you
Escape is a word nothing more
Diaspora mama…..

NME

FAfafafafa

In no position to be anything
Think that you’re great and that a crying shame
Your definition isn’t what it means
Thinking your out but you were never in

Want love but love is a lie
Embraced by some other guy
10 x you said your goodbye
Will not bath in your gasoline

Now love I know you are dried up
Feel free to drink up from my cup
Bend down take what you gave
1, 2…here we go

Everybody is an enemy’
You spend your time
Sucking poison from a rotten wound
Your life digging for your soul
But you never get nothing from the street of this shitty city

Surround me
Drown me in you’

There is no reason to be anything
Look all around there’s no one left to blame
The cage you built you built to hold you in
Say you want to live but you are dying

Want love but love is a lie
A drug to make you feel high
10 x she kissed you goodnight
Will not bath in your gasoline

Now love I know you are dried up
Feel free to drink up from my cup
Bend down take what you gave
1, 2…here we go

Everybody is an enemy’
You spend your life
Dancing to a broken tune
When you’re done digging for your gold
You’ll find you have nothing but a worn down empty hole

Surround me
Drown me in you

Sweet and low
You let go say goodbye
To all that you know

Sweet and low
You let go say goodbye
To all that you know
Solo

Fafafafa

Surround me
Turn me loose and
Drown me in you

Sweet and low
You let go say goodbye
To all that you know

Sweet and low
You let go

Get up get up getup and get…..

John of the cross

I am john of the cross
A murderous man
Roaming this land
I kill all I can

A killer for the love killing
And blood shall fill this land
Built my throne
Out of death and bone
Swear to god no man shall stand

Riders yeah black riders
Everybody dies tonight

These are days of hate and crime
And the law is going blind
We live and die in sin
And the villains win yeah

Riders yeah black riders
Everybody dies tonight

I am john of the cross
Killer of man
Shot Jacobs wife
And burned up his land

A simple man Jacob farmer
Till the day fate changed his life
He rode out that night with her blood on his mind
Swore to kill that goddamned man

Chorus

These are days of hate and crime
And the law is gone blind
We live and die in sin
To kill again

Chorus

And he found him five days out
In the canyons of the sun
And he called the bastard out
And drew his gun

Never had a chance to move his hand
Shot twice in the head
Killer fell straight to hell
Jacob shot the bastard dead

John of the cross o john of the cross

Kung Gusto Mo Pa?

Wala na ang araw
Nasa palad tayo nang takipsilim
Bumubulong sa atin and hanging

Ibrahim

Comes in the night
Selling dreams to your ears
He makes the stars come alive

Pay the price of a little sacrifice
It’s hard and cold just like the truth

Give me your second alive o ibrahim
I call the wings of the night my home

Come taste the flavor of your rotten obsession
Commence and dine amongst swine

Pay the price of a little sacrifice
It’s hard and cold just like the truth

Give me your second alive o ibrahim
I call the wings of the night my own

Gonna chew you up
Gonna spit you out
Take you in
And cut you down

Turn you inside out
Turn your whole life around
Till I’m done with you
Own everything you do

Get away from me cheap enemy
Get back in your hole
Out from in front of me
You are not anything unless I make you king
No one and nothing
I am a lion
You are not anything
I am a lion
You are not anything
My eyes are open

Pay the price of a little sacrifice
Hard and cold just like the truth

Give me your second alive o ibrahim
I call the wings of the night my home

Give me your second alive o ibrahim
I call the wings of the night my own

Soap

Don’t turn the page on it

No forgiveness again
No forgetting the past
We’ve done all this before
No more looking back

Cause the fact of it all is that bridges were burned and choices were made and tides have been turned

Think about all it is that you did spoil
Think about everything that you destroyed
If you hold out your hand (to me)
And hold out your heart
You will never get a thing from me.

Not a thing from me yeah

No forgiveness my friend
No forgetting what’s past
We’ve done all that we can
No more looking back yeah

Think about all it is that you did spoil
Think about everything that you destroyed
If you hold out your hand (to me)
And hold out your heart
You will never get a thing from me

Solo

Cause the fact of it all is that bridges were burned and choices were made and tides have been turned

Think about all it is that you did spoil
Think about everything that you destroyed
If you hold out your hand (to me)
Hold out your heart
You will never get a thing from me

The Shaft

You put your poison pen to paper
Wrote another nasty letter

Stick your head between your knees
Kiss your ass and pray
Cause the plane is going down anyway…

I’m ALIVE!!! I’m elated, elevated, to be in this without you

There aint nothing left to offer me/ would have had me bite the poison apple

Had me dead and hanging off your tree/ looking to bury me in your chapel

Stick your head between your knees
Kiss your ass and pray
Cause the plane is going down anyway…

I’m ALIVE!!!I’m elated, elevated, to be in this without you

Stick your head between your knees
Kiss your ass and pray
Cause the plane is going down anyway…

YOU GOT ONE FOOT IN THE GUTTER!!!

C YA LATER MOTHERFUCKER!!!

Novus Is Burning

Everything in its good time
Keep your hate pent up inside
Revolution calling
Voice of changes dawning
Today your bloodstained sun will rise

Feel the hand
Of disarray
Grab a hold
And then it blows you away
You will not touch me
You would not want to
Come near me
And I will kill you

There is a war coming

Feel the hand
Of disarray
Grab a hold
And then it blows you away

This is a call to all
So brandish your arms
In glory we kill
So choose a weapon of war
Fight to the death
Earth and stars will collide
Under the heavens we sleep
With blood on our minds

There is a war coming

Pick up your fallen
Leave no man behind
Destroy all that confronts you
Kill what isn’t your kind
Mercy is weak
Battles wheels keep on turning
And Novus is burning

You will not touch me
You would not want to
Come near me
And I will kill you

There is a war coming
Beware you meek….hahaha
And Novus is burning

Ladies and gentlemen

Hello my wasted brothers
And fallen soldiers

Come on inside
Now’s a great time to die

Bring all your enemies
And sit them at this table

Laugh and play
For all will end in judgment
Again

Ladies and gentlemen
Ladies and gentlemen
Ladies and gentlemen
Welcome to the end…..
